Iz kinda what really happened, The Rv ran and drove good but made a strange lower end knock sound that was just noticible enough to cause emus to be concerned, though had a hard time telling just what it was making the noise, it might have been nothing at all, but who knows, RV got a new engine before trip. That Might be in komik in some form later.

I set up a goal early this year to jog 500 miles. No real good reason why. I just wanted to try to do it. Sometimes I need stupid little goals like that so I have some reason to goad myself into continuing, when it can be much easier to just sit on my ass every day.

And yesterday I did it. Whee.

In some ways, it's no big deal. 500 miles, over the course of a whole year. It's only 2 or 3 miles every workday during lunch, with some days off here and there for assorted reasons. But I guess consistency is the key. 2-3 miles a day is no big deal. Doing it 'almost' every day for a year is a little bigger deal.

About 10% of those miles were actually 'walked' because there were some days when I forgot to bring my workout clothes with me. But I wanted to keep working at that goal, so I decided to walk those days in my work clothes.

I guess it keeps me healthy. Low heart rate, decent stamina. It's one of those things I need to start worrying about.
